Gas Boiler & Insulation Grants
ECO provides grants towards the cost of replacement boilers and/or insulation in homes across Scotland, England and Wales.
If you’re a Homeowner or Private Tenant living in the UK you may be entitled to free home improvements such as home Insulation and free boiler replacement.
We specialise in facilitating home improvement grants for homeowners in Scotland.
Who qualifies for ECO funding?
Anyone can qualify. If you live in North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire or Falkirk anyone who owns their property or is a private tenant qualifies. In other local authority regions if you recieve any form of benefit, you qualify.
Ideally you own the property but a private rented property is still eligible as long as the landlord of the property agrees. This benefits both the tenant and the landlord as the tenant experiences a lower energy bill and the landlord adds value to their property.
What's covered by ECO funding?
There’s a number of different home improvements that are available for grant funding. So if you’re looking for:
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- Free Gas Boiler Replacement
- Underfloor Insulation
- Internal Wall Insulation
- Room-in-Roof Insulation
- Loft Insulation
ECO3 funding could pay for the entire amount including fitting, meaning you get a considerably lower energy bill at no cost to you.
Still not sure? Here's what our customers say about us.
I'm usually sceptical of companies who knock at my door to sell anything but with the help of Energy Helper UK I managed to get my cavity wall insulation guaranteed for 25 years and a free boiler! Highly recommend.
Energy Helper UK knocked my door and told me about these grants. I don't normally qualify for any kind of grant funding because I don't get benefits but within 3 weeks I had a new boiler for free. Very professional service.
I had heard about these grants years ago and got cavity wall insulation done. Energy Helper UK extracted the old insulation and replaced it with new insulation guaranteed for 25 years for free.

Chances are, if you own a home built between 1920 and 2000, you’ll qualify for funding to help improve the heat efficiency of your property.
